Everyone has their own favorite colors. And, eventually, we all go to the prom. The process of finding the right outfit to wear to the prom can entail the issue of finding the right dress, in the right color, to wear. We may not particularly like the same colors that seem to flatters us but we can find shades of these fastidious colors that mesh with the colors that we do like. It is amazing how a hue of color can change the entire look of an outfit. A dress can have a hideous cut, or shape, (such as your best friend's bridesmaid dresses) but if the color is attractive the whole scheme can end up working out. We can manipulate dresses to bring out the shade of our eyes, the color of our hair, and even the tone of our skin as long as we investigate the color.
We all have our own color; a color that makes us stand-out, look amazing, and brings depth to our features. When you coordinate accordingly you can attract attention from all angles. Pale, yellow, and dark skin tones with blue or pink undertones are hot skin types. Hot skin types work well with sharp colors. Black and blue are colors that master the hot skin tone vector. Warm skin tones are generally people who have pink skin. Pastels are the ultimate in color-flattery for warm skin types. (Warm's should avoid orange and black.) Natural brunettes and redheads fall, normally, under the cool skin tone category and are flattered by oranges, browns, and earthy tones; so cool's, don't jump to any black and white combo's. Cold skin tones are those of you who have freckles and pale skin. Yellows, greens, and blues have their way of bringing out your best features; so avoid blacks and whites as well.
Color can even be affected by your choice of nail polish. Fair skinned people should stick to blue-based colors of polish; darker skin tones should work with yellow-base colors. Medium skin tones can fluctuate with just about any polish color, whether it is a blue or yellow-based color, but a burgundy hue will be your most flattering tone. Lipstick can affect the whole look of your face so try these tips. Fair skin is flattered by pinks, nudes, and cherry lipstick shades. Medium skinned women should shoot for pinks with a brown undertone (brown shades are nice for medium skin tones). Yellow skin needs deep brown and deep berry shades and dark skin looks great with brown and purple lipstick colors.
