What's the Best Flare for You?

There are so many styles to choose from when it comes to prom night design. The hardest part is finding your favorite design from the hundreds of variations. Yet this can also be the fun part.

Choosing a dress that flatters while sharing your style can be a tricky task. The runway styles share a commonality and that is the flare. The flared base is a fashion fav. It is a nice way to show off the curves of the hips and thighs and even add curves that may not be so pronounced in some smaller framed women.

The flare is a new wave of expression in prom dresses. It can be incorporated into many different top designs and also used in shorter, or longer lengths. The general idea is to flare-out the shorter dresses but there is no rule saying that longer designs can not have a flare to them. There are actually many long length dress design s that offer a flared base and are exquisite in form and function.

The tight form, full length prom dress with the flared bottom is a favorite this year. As with the short dress flare the simple flare is set at the base of the dress and gives only a hint instead of holding a full flare of the entire skirt-base. This is a wonderful alternative to the traditional flowing base.

The flare can range from the waist to the ankle. One of the hottest flare settings is when it is located just below the waist. The flare is set on the hips and this is a beautiful design for women of slender shape. For slender ladies it gives the illusion of curvy hips. The flare positioned anywhere from below the hips to the ankles can be worn, and look fabulous, on most any body size. Using some interesting top designs and incorporating the right positioning of the flare can lead to a unique design and a flattering fashion statement.

You are basically given all options when it comes to this design. With a wide variety of designers using a wide range of varying lengths, positioning, and materials the perfect dress is out there. With so many shopping options, and so many independent designers, and seamstresses, you are bound to find the magnificent dress that you’ve been craving.
