The Prom Purse

Find a purse that compliments your dress

When it comes to prom night the last thing you want to be worrying about is losing your wallet, money, or important information like your driver's license or social security card. You would be surprised how many teens carry their important personal items on their 'person' to try and save space. Since the prom is one big dance floor, most teens do not want to worry with a pocket book or wallet. Unfortunately this can be the opposite of what you need to do.

Understandably, you won't want to ask your friends to hold your person items so you can dance, since they may very well be dancing at the same time you are. The best option is to drop the idea of carrying your money in your pockets, or braziers (Ladies!). the worst ending for your prom will be the night you realize you lost your fun-money.

In order to be compact you only need to be practical. For the ladies, most prom dresses come from designers who are creative enough to create a matching carrying bag. A small carry-all bag is one of the simplest and easiest purses to use while you are busy dancing, joking, and having a sweet time.

If the designer of your dress has not created a matching carry-all for your dress then it is up to you to go on the hunt. At your local mall there are plenty of boutiques that can accommodate your carry-all search. These carry-all bags are usually less than twelve inches wide, and around three to four inches deep. They are just big enough for money, a driver's license, and lipstick. Most boutiques have a lovely selection of patterned, solid colored and uniquely patterned carry-alls. Some carry-all purse's are miniature and can even be found equipped with a slender lace, or thinly cut ribbon, strap. These are even more convenient than the original carry-all bags.

The men should concentrate on a money clips. These are your saving-grace for any event that calls for a suit and tie. A wallet will be extremely bulky and highly visible so shooting for a money clip will easily be your best bet for keeping your personal belongings where they belong. It is far easier to go with your best interests in mind so that you can spend your time enjoying yourself and not looking for something you lost. A little preparedness can save you a headache and a lot of trouble.
