Prom Horror Stories

What do I do if my dress rips or a strap breaks or worse?

"Some girls have all the luck." Well, one famous songwriter said so,anyway. But, my fear is that something unexpected will happen that will upset the fun and pleasure of prom. I just can't see myself toting an emergency sewing kit, nail polish for stocking runs, or worse, yet, to have to run to the feminine hygiene closet for the night. Who's to care except those that I want to impress and have care about me, perhaps?
