i can't tell you how many times i have been offered a drink on a first date, school-related party or at an off-campus event. But, it's a lot. If i had a dollar for every time i have been asked whether i want a drink, i'd be a wealthy girl. But, since i'm not; then, i guess it tells you what i think of the folly in drinking alcohol to feel like i fit in or need to be socially accepted in how I account for my behavior. i just don't get it. Why do advertisers get to profit over my financial loss?!?
