You've seen them around, you know they exist. I'm talking about these really gorgeous guys who strut around wearing these really classy threads, looking like the next Hot Item. They exist.
When the prom comes around, it isn't just all about how pretty or how hot you and your date are. You know it all boils down to how the two of you look like on prom night, and the clothes are, unfortunately, what make the man. And that's no bland joke; the date has to look primed to conquer the world, and contrary to popular opinion, that's not the easiest task. Guys tend to be a bit relaxed when it comes to dressing up.
Tuxedo styles come and go, but the hot prom guy arrives at prom night in a get-up that suits him from head to toe. That means his hair isn't a mess, any facial hair is properly trimmed, and the tuxedo isn't something from ancient history.
The hair's pretty easy, since guys usually wear heads of hair that are fairly simple to style. The boys who tend to wear longer hair can be a problem, since feminine hairstyles don't really go well with men. It's a good thing that long-haired guys can easily be taken care of with a pony tail, or even some hair spray.
The tux, now, that can be a problem. The idea is to stay sleek and stylish, and to keep away from rented outfits. Old tuxes that still look good can do nicely, although the best recourse is usually to have a new set made. They don't have to look too complicated, anything that exudes an aura of style should be enough.
The most important detail is the color: choose anything too bright, and the guy'll end up looking like a complete fruit throughout the night. Black is the ephemeral color of class, and it goes well with nearly everything. Another alternative would be a light beige shade, which gives off an equally classy look. Anything greyscale or pastel, and you'd be better off dumping him for a stranger.
this is a cute couple in opposites, her in black with white and him in white and black. his suit has some pinstripes an the pockets, and her dress jacket has white embroidery on the bottom.
Some may think that grey ties can look boring. Good thing this one doesn't.
Their dates just prove that they have it. No questions asked.
How can you go wrong with a simple and neat black tux with a pastel tie? Looks nice and clean.
