If you are like most, you have one particular charity or cause that is your favorite cause to give toward. Giving to charity can not only be great for others but it also gives you a sense of purpose and a general good feeling of giving. If your prom is coming up then there is no better time to show off your support for your cause. Most charities or organizations have certain colors, logos or themes that they use to personalize and stand-out; by associating with their colors or logos you are supporting their cause. If you find that their organization sells tiny pins, buttons, or even temporary tattoos you can use these little suggestive ideas to show your support at prom.
Something as simple as wearing a charity pin on your cuff can show others and bring in their support as well. Some girls have been known to show their support for breast cancer awareness by wearing all pink to their prom. Some will go a little simpler by wearing a pink bracelet, hair pin, or shawl and show their support of the cause. If your charity does not have a specific color than you can actually use your creativity to invent imaginative ways to show their logo. Put a magnetic logo on the side of your rented limo as you arrive, wear a logo-stamped ribbon around your wrist, there are many ways to express your support.
You can show others that your care is something that they themselves can do as well. There is no better way to support a good cause than to show it off for others to notice. You can even go so far as to help join forces with the prom development committee by asking the promoters to get involved. To have your prom join forces to raise money for a charity is a news-worthy event. Selling ribbon-pins, stickers, bracelets, even flowers for charity can be a simple, yet amazing way to show others that you care enough to raise money for a good cause, and it also shows others that something simple can make a huge impact. Just by selling a few simple items can raise substantial amounts for a charity you support. So go out there and ask around; if you talk to those who are in charge of the functioning events of your prom you may be amazed to see how enthusiastic they can be to help you in your do-good quest.
