I'm having a problem...first of all, are the hippie prom dresses? actually, does hippie count as vintage? and where would i find a hippie prom dress?

Personnally i think you should get the closest thing you can to the style and shape of dress you want, and customize it with fabric dyes, funky pins and badges or flowers.
