Cause I wanna look more mature

I want to look more mature during prom. Will vintage prom dresses give me that kind of look?

Name: Faye | Date: March 13, 2007, 11:49 pmI think she looks a bit girlish so she wants to look like a real lady on prom.Name: jan | Date: March 22, 2007, 5:38 pmyes, especially if you get something that supports your shape. if you're kind of lanky [that may be why you feel "girlish"], you should really play it up with a portrait neck flapper frock or something. just have fun with it. i'm wearing a vintage-esque gown, and i think i look quite graceful, although people know i'm a natural klutz. hahah. also, if you want to look older and you have a small face/head, leave your hair down, or at least half down, and curl it [unless it's short, in that case, make it pin straight and play up the twneties "i can hold my own against a man" thing]. stray away from princess cut gowns if you're short.. they will overwhelm you and make you look ridiculously young/out of place. vintage=glam and vintage=class. therefore yes, vintage=mature. :-]
