Are plus size prom dress more expensive?

Name: Samantha | Date: April 6, 2005, 5:54 pm
I was recently looking for plus-size prom dresses and the shop I went to told me that alterations might be more expensive...because the prom dress is plus-size. this seems cruel and totally unfair. have you any of you girls experienced this?

I decided to get a prom dress and found the perfect one. Here are some websites that have plus size prom dresses. www.torrid.com www.debshops.com www.alfredangeloprom.com www.flirtprom.com www.promdressshop.com www.therosedress.com www.shopshop.com www.promgirl.com www.promspot.comName: lucy | Date: March 1, 2007, 11:15 pmdoes anyone have a 32+ sized dress they\'d be willing to sale?Name: Lucy | Date: March 4, 2007, 5:50 pmI know what ya'll mean! But, to me, David's Bridal/ Prom dresses are very lovely and are reasonably priced. For those "self concious" about your beauty :), they even have cute matching jackets in just about any color that you can find to match your reasonably priced dress. Good LuckName: Lucy | Date: March 4, 2007, 5:51 pmI know what ya'll mean! But, to me, David's Bridal/ Prom dresses are very lovely and are reasonably priced. There are so many places on line. pay attention to the sizing charts, and think about going up one size...just in case. That way, you can have it custom fitted if you need to. I can guarantee that there is NO room in the seams of a prom dress for it to be let out. Also, here is a website where they list places where you can get prom dresses for free. They won't necessarily have your size, but they might, so if you are near any of them, it's worth contacting them. http://www.glassslipperproject.org/yostate.htm good luck.Name: Rebeca | Date: March 17, 2007, 8:56 pmrebecca your comment was really mean im a size 0 too but i dont say things like you well good luck grls on finding dresses!!!=)Name: NAY | Date: March 17, 2007, 9:56 pmI know that is right.
