I want to be a goth, so, if i wanted to wear a goth dress for prom, do i have to wear black? what other colors do goths wear?

We are all different and we all have our own preferences, what difference does it make if someone wants to try something new for once? or maybe they realize that who they were isnt who they truely are. people change and life goes on. and this is my opinion but i dont think pink is beautiful.
