I am prior service (as in prior military) and I wore floor length dress. I also have been to Marine Corps & Army balls. When I go to these events it is always BEST to look amazing!! Get your nails done & get an up-do. Not only are you looking your best but you leaving a leasting impression on your date... and it does matter. All the military that I have attended I have worn black dresses.
