ive got big hips, how can i look great on the night?

help! id say i have quite wide hips and dieting and fitness isnt going to help. my prom is in a few months time and i want to look great as its a memoral night. Any dresses that ive tried on make me look huge and wide. Can some one help me and suggest a style or type of dress that will hide my hips or flatter them or make them look less big ? please reply

I have the samee exact problem i am very skinny in my waist and lets just say i have my moms hips =[ they are huge, yeah guys like them but if you want to hide them and look smaller, try to find a "poofy dress" like cinderella** thats what i call them... they are tiny up top and totally go wide down below so it doesnt show.. everyyy curve of your body. if you dont likee the poofy dresses, and if you are light skinned.. dark colors definitely hide a lot!
