i saw this AMAZING dress for homecoming but im not sure about the print! can someone please help?

ok so i saw this gorgeous like leopard print dress for homecoming, but im not sure if leopard print is "in" anymore. if you saw gwen stefani or lindsay lohans dresses at the 2005 vms, its not that wild. its really subtle and light and it looks more like a taupe color with some barely visable print on it. so what do you think? yes or no? would i look like a total loser? thanks for the help!
