My 2005 Prom Dress doesn't match my date

Not really sure what to do. My blue 2005 prom dress doesn't really match with my date's tux. He can't really afford to rent something new...what should i do? Grin and bear it? Or maybe see if i can get a different 2005 prom dress.

You could wear a dress you already have, but part of the fun of prom is buying a new dress. You want to wear a dress which was just meant for prom.
