There are trends being pushed ahead to make statements months in advance. With designers/buyers predicting the weather of fashion we receive tons of amazing designs to choose from; most of which are preparing to hit stores for the 2011 prom season soon. There are hundreds of trends being forecasted right now. So it seems normal that we would take our time in choosing the right gown for prom.

By knowing what in-season looks you are drawn to you will be ahead of the game and know what design to immediately seek when stores fill with the year's newest trends. Try not to focus on one specific fabric or color; if you are flexible with the materials then you are more likely to receive the design that is most appealing to you.

Choosing wisely can seem difficult when you are presented with so many choices so early in the year. You are likely to find what you are planning as long as your list of demands is not too long. Be creative, but remember that simplicity is always in style. One tip given by top designers is to always choose the simpler styling choice. If you try too hard, use too many layers or over-kill the jewelry or make-up you are taking away from the simplistic beauty of your dress and overpowering your outfit.
